Re-application of this wax compound is recommended on an annual basis to help maintain the waterproof nature of your garment. One tin generally covers one trench coat. I suggest re-waxing your coat in the heat of the summer so that it is ready for you the following season. Hot Tip: leave it sitting in the sun for hours to help get that wax to penetrate the fabric so that you can skip the hair dryer routine! This maintenance will help preserve the fibre integrity thus lengthening its life!
